So Coachella is
well and truly over for another year and with the weather hot, hot, hot, the festival fashion for 2010 takes the first major festival by storm and all the usual bessie
mates celebs dominate the press along with a couple of (L) A listers
and a couple of new kids on the block. (Dr Who the new heart throb? who knew). A special shout out to the bands that couldn't get there due to some random Volcano that has also grounded many a member of the gigsandtours
team with it!
Never mind meanwhile in the desert MUSE played a stormer of a gig....
Other gigsandtours faves VAMPIRE WEEKEND played a blinder and La Roux played a very desert themed set with QUICKSAND topping it off. Catch her on tour in MAY in the UK. Echo & The Bunnymen played some covers into their set which went down well to the massive crowd in the audience. They play in December across the UK.
As for the fashion if you care...
Aztec and tribal prints, acid denim cut offs, florals
with a grunge twist, Slogan and band Ts customized of course, shaved heads on the girls... well it was hot. Check out VOGUE
for more festival fashion photos...
as for the celebs goss... well I couldn't possibly say!
See you at the next festival!
