Time for something a little bit different...

If you fancy a bit of culture or a want to try something a bit different then you've stumbled across the right place.  Although we tend to blog about the well known artists and mainstream music I thought I'd opt for something else today and hopefully open a door to something new!!

Vienna Teng, an accomplished pianist and singer-songwriter teams up with Alex Wong the singer-songwriter/guitarist/percussionist virtuoso for a special gig at London's Bush Hall this August.  Critically acclaimed on the other side of the pond, these brilliant musicians have gained respect in the U.S. for their work both as individual artists as well as touring partners.  Over here, however, they are still relatively unknown but their success Stateside promises to be reflected in Europe.

Check out their cover of Radiohead's Idioteque performed live in New York last year

With an eclectic mix of pop, folk and classical piano their music brings a refreshing change, so if you're knocking about London town in August and fancy something a little bit different, mosey on down to Bush Hall and check them out!
