Pendulum: something wicked this way comes??

So the mighty Pendulum announced a massive 'Immersion' Arena Tour this week, scheduled for December. Formed in 2002, the band have gone from strength to strength over the past 8 years, notably being thrust into the mainstream with the brilliant - and my personal favourite - Propane Nightmares back in 2008.  Having first seen them live at Leeds Festival in 2008, I can without a doubt say it was one of the highlights of the weekend (even if I did get squished and almost lost in the very passionate and energetic crowd - at 5 feet tall, you definitely need to get on the shoulders of a big strong boy). Pendulum gigs are not for the faint hearted; expect to be blown away.

After a storming set at the Warriors Dance Festival alongside the likes of Enter Shikari and headliners Prodigy last weekend, the band have a jam packed summer schedule ahead with festival appearances and gigs across Europe. Their popularity Stateside is also on the rise.  Their debut US live tour featured thirteen sold-out shows from coast to coast, including a date at Los Angeles’ 1300 capacity Mayan Theatre. Meanwhile, their continuing live popularity also received a succession of boosts with killer sets at Coachella and SXSW and their first ever headline appearance at Miami’s Ultra Music Festival.

And while we're on the topic of Pendulum, being the social media geek that I am, I love this Facebook app dubbed 'The Witchcraft Experience' (to coincide with release of their new single). This spooky app 'hijacks' users profiles and has already been tried out by over 50,000.   Check it out if you dare!
