Too Hot to Handle...

Just when you thought you had Hot Hot Heat pigeon holed as an indie-disco band, the Canadian trio comes out with an unconventional mix of tracks which I can only describe as the most intriguing and enjoyable sound.

Keeping their songs fresh and relevant since their debut release in 2002, they have a herd of anticipating fans at the ready to hear their regularly tweaked sound, with The New York Post quoting their latest album ‘Future Breeds’ as “their most experimental sounding album to date”.

Showcasing their versatility and talent in abundance, Hot Hot Heat are performing an intimate gig at Manchester Academy 3, which I highly recommend you get yourselves down too….I mean, The Fly didn’t call it “a whirlwind of howling synths and guitars that stagger unsteadily through verses; it’s like putting your head in a washing machine-and it’s brilliant” for nothing now would they?!
