It's not exactly the same as the laddish lyrics that first shot Arctic Monkeys to fame in 2005, but it shows a more mature side to the band, with tracks such as 'Love Is A Lazerquest' and 'Reckless Serenade' showing that they are finally confidant enough to break out of the mould that was built for them and prove to their critics that they still can be Britain's favourite rock band albeit without all the sarcasm and wit.
