MTV Music Awards '11

The hottest music awards around is back, with a brand new selection of superstars ready to fight each other for the top prizes.






Everyone's teenage dream, Katy Perry, has been nominated for a jaw dropping 9 awards, including 'Best Pop Video' and 'Best Female Video'. She might as well start practicing her acceptance speech now! The shocked star shouted 'I have nine nominations! Nine? I thought that was a typo or something!'. No Katy, just proof of your hard work and dedication. I can't wait to see her at the MEN Arena in October!














The sweet, soulful voice that belongs to Bruno Mars has made him a worldwide star over the past year, and now it's earned him 4 nominations at this years awards ceremony. This comes as a latest high for Bruno, who helped pen Cee Lo Green's smash hit 'F*** You', after two number 1 singles and 7 Grammy nominations. Kickstarting his UK tour in August, this year is set to get even bigger for the Hawaiin star.







Up for Best New Artist is hot Indie band Foster The People. Their debut single 'Pumped Up Kicks' is shaping up to be the anthem of the Summer making them more than worthy nominees. As well as playing Ibiza Rocks this Summer, Foster The People start their UK tour in November, and I can't wait!!!
