GIGSANDTOURS: V FESTIVAL 2017 IS HERE!

This year has seemingly flown by since the huge V21st last August when we saw a huge weekend including headliners of Rihanna and Justin Bieber! Now we get to look forward to another huge line up for the 22nd year of V festival, with HUGE headliners of P!NK and JAY-Z! This year is set to be huge and we hope that this Gigs and Tours blog piece will get you excited as we talk about who the top acts are at the event this year!

Pink provides some of the most incredible, acrobatic and energetic performers in the world. She is a global icon in Pop music and this is replicated by her sales of 60 million albums worldwide to date. She is set to light up the stage with a fantastic array of madness and some exquisite vocals!

Rudimental are back at V Festival this year and if its anything to go by their 2015 performance, then we are in for a TREAT! They have had huge hits starring alongside the likes of Will Heard, Anne Marie and also Ed Sheeran! They have completed various Arena tours and look set to being a great set full of instrumentals and energy!

The King is back! We saw him at V Festival last year and this year he has expanded into a huge pop star, selling out arenas across the country in his 17 Date Arena tour in the UK! He will be bringing back classics of years ago and also new tunes that can only make you want to dance!

Jess Glynne will return to V Festival this year, and its safe to say we are over the moon to have her back as she is simply the UK's Queen of Pop right now! Her fame is clear with over 280 MILLION YouTube hits on her videos! Be sure she will bring some fabulous summery sing along tunes to Weston and Hylands Park!

George is a real V Festival favourite and his first and most recent album 'wanted on voyage' was a huge hit in the UK, and he was branded by music critic and well respected Radio 1 DJ as "One of the most compelling and exciting voices around". He is teasing us with a much anticipated new album and the wait we hope is nearly over for this 2nd album!

Pete Tong has made his name as being a household name in the DJ and Dance industry, yet now he has created, alongside Jules Buckley, a different, individual and special set up where he combines his skills with Jules to create a Dance styled orchestral progress style of house music! Its very different to anything else and will expand your mind on what the limits to music may be!

Ellie Goulding has been the star of the hits such as 'Love Me Like You Do', 'Falling for You' and also 'BURN'. She smashed it on the main stage last year at V Festival, and we expect the same from the lady who has since done a huge Arena Tour in the UK!

This man came in as a late addition to V Festival last year... but he seemingly added a whole new level to V 2016! He had one of the biggest crowds of the weekend as about 40-45,000 people came to see him at the main stage! This man has since has a HUGE album entitled 'Gang Signs + Prayers' whilst also recently selling out his first UK tour, including 3 sold out nights at Brixton Academy!

Emeli Sande is one of the most beautiful artists that you can listen too, she provides an incredible vocal range, alongside and her star presence that will be hard to avoid when you choose who to watch at V Festival! She will be certain to wow us all with new tracks from her new album 'Long Live The Angels' and older tracks such as 'beneath your beautiful' and 'Read all about it'.
