What are you up to at this moment?Mixing the Edinburgh Live DVD audio - It’s taking a long time.
You’re playing festivals and doing surprise gigs soon what can the audience expect? The festivals are going to be really interesting. So far, the new line up has played to the Big Country faithful, this is going to be our first time out in front of audiences that will barely remember us or never seen us before. This is a real challenge.
Will you be playing any new material or a mixture of your back catalogue? The festivals and surprise gigs will feature a mixture of back catalogue and new material. We are about to record a new single so that song will feature to start with.
What is your favourite song to perform live? All of them.
Where has been your favourite gig?It is difficult to distinguish favourite gigs, the whole deal about us being together again with Mike and Jamie has been one massive bundle of joy. Just to be able to go out and play the songs in the way we've always been able to play is awesome.
Which song do you wish you had written?
What was the first gig you ever went to?
Chuck Berry supported by The Animals at Hammersmith Odeon, I was 8 years old.
Plans for the rest of the year?To dedicate all my efforts to Big Country.
